Our AEV HoodLifts have been discontinued while we work out some bracketing issues.
If you have the AEV heat-reduction hood, your hood is heavier than factory so our "normal" JK HoodLift will not work. We have some prototypes out there and will return to production when we are satisfied with our testing. Note, the gas spring (that looks like a shock) is slanted downward. This lets the oil in the spring lubricate the seal plus gives you the dampened stop at the end of the stroke. If the spring is level or the big end down, the oil may not lubricate the seal or dampen the end of the stroke. This will shorten the life of the spring and puts unnecessary stress on everything.
